Nicola Pallas
Founding Director, Counsellor, Brainspotting therapist, and Supervisor.
"Over the years I have seen and experienced the frustration from different people around limited access to support when it comes to mental health. Therefore, it is my aim to provide a service which enables flexibility and minimal waiting periods for children, adults, young people and families of all ages. I am a strong believer in early intervention to help prevent the point of crisis and feel that everyone is deserving of support when it comes to mental health.

I work from a strongly trauma-informed perspective, supporting children and women through experiences that have left emotional or psychological wounds. I specialise in working with trauma and allow each individual to explore and process painful and overwhelming experiences at their own pace. My work consists of both talking therapies and somatic work which enables both mind and body to work towards healing. By integrating creative therapeutic approaches, as well as somatic interventions (such as Brainspotting and Guided Drawing), to help access and resolve trauma held at a deeper level. My approach moves beyond traditional talking therapies, offering everyone multiple pathways to healing and finding a therapeutic approach that is right for them.

A good counsellor is more than just someone who is there to listen. A good counsellor is understanding, empathic, honest, creative, able to use their initiative, in tune, interested in every word spoken, non- judgmental, accepting, and sees others as equal to them."
