Come along and join me, Nicola, for a morning of Guided Drawing. An introduction to the technique while holding a safe space to explore any unhealed wounds still carried in the body.
What is guided drawing:
Guided Drawing® involves a bilateral drawing technique that aids in body mapping in a trauma-informed manner. Individuals create rhythmic repeated scribbles and patterns on paper to detect internal tension, patterns of tension, and pain stored in the body. Massage techniques are also used on the paper to fulfil their internal requirements, using finger paints.
