Come and join the wonderful Claire Austin as we explore ways to work creatively with our clients.
Course Objective: Understanding creative ways to work and exploring deeper with our clients.
Course Schedule:
10am - Introductions, refreshments, what we hope from the day.
10.30-12pm – What does a calm space mean to you, what’s your experience of working with imaginal resources and how does experiential work feel when with your client? Incorporating EMDR techniques to intall imaginitive and creative imigery.
12pm – lunch
12.30-2pm – From assessment to first session - timeline work and where to start – working with units of distress and positive cognitions. Experiential work activities.
2pm – short break
2.15- 4pm – What does rest look like, exploration of rest and what ‘self-care’ means to us as professionals. How do we support our clients with understanding self-care. Do we know what burn out looks like and how do we support ourselves to manage this.
We will end the session with a Yoga Nidra practice, settle down for a relaxed ending.
Refreshments and resources will be available on the day.
A CPD certificate of 6 hours will be presented to attendees on the day.
