This months coffee morning includes something a little different. We invite you to join Jessica from Newcastle university to have your voice heard about women's health.
"Hiya! My name is Jess Crosby and I'm a researcher working as part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration for the North-East and North Cumbria (website: Home - ARC). We’re currently undertaking a project funded by Sunderland Council and NENC Integrated Care Board, to improve women’s healthcare access in Sunderland and explore the Women’s Health Hub provision in the city.
Working with the community is at the centre of everything we do. As such, we are hoping to hold an informal discussion to talk about the barriers and enablers you've experienced when accessing women's health and care, with an emphasis on engaging those living in areas of high deprivation, ethnically minoritised communities and neurodivergent groups.
